Dr. Paul J. Meissner Jr., D.P.M.

Dr. Meissner is a board certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has over thirty years experience in examining, diagnosing and treating all foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Meissner provides complete medical and surgical care for the entire family including the treatment of bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, ingrown nails, all sports related injuries & designing custom orthotics.

Dr. Meissner is a native of Buffalo and attended the University of Buffalo from 1971-1975. In 1979, he earned his graduate degree in medical education from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, In 1979 and 1980, he performed his post graduate surgical residency in Detroit, Michigan’s Kern Hospital. In 1981, Dr Meissner opened his private practice in Cockeysville, MD where he has been serving the greater Baltimore community since.

Dr. Meissner has been an active staff member of the department of surgery at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center since 1987. He is also a staff member of The Timonium Surgical Center. Dr. Meissner specializes in performing procedures on major foot deformities & all sports related injuries.

With his own passion fueling his interest, Dr. Meissner has become a leader in his field in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. To stay on the forefront of best practices and emerging medical technology, Dr. Meissner continuously seeks out hands on seminars that ensure such opportunities.
